Each A Level course has specific entry requirements based on your GCSE results. Some subjects may also require grades in related GCSE subjects.

| GCSE Academic Foundation Programme | 4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above (inc. English Language and Maths). Applicants with no GCSEs or overseas qualifications will complete an assessment in August. |
| A Level in Art and Design - Fine Art | 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (inc. English Language and Maths) including Grade 5 in Art or a portfolio |
| A Level in Biology | 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (inc. English Language and Maths) Additional Entry Requirements: A Level Biology will require grade 6 in GCSE Biology and grade 6 in either GCSE Chemistry or Physics (or 66 in Combined Science). This subject must also be studied alongside at least one other science-based (Maths, Chemistry, Physics) course. Psychology or Environmental Science can also be counted as an additional science based subject. |
| A Level in Business | 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (inc. English Language and Maths) |
| A Level in Chemistry | 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above (inl English Lang). Additional Entry Requirements: A Level Chemistry will require grade 6 in GCSE Maths. A Level Chemistry will require grade 6 in GCSE Chemistry and grade 6 in either GCSE Biology or Physics (or 66 in Combined Science). This subject must also be studied alongside at least one other science-based (Maths, Biology, Physics) course. |
